WHY WAXING?

Unlike shaving, waxing removes hairs with the root. The effect lasts longer, so you can wait two or even four weeks between the treatments.

Shaving cuts the part of the hair that extends above the skin and does not affect hair growth. Waxing removes the hair bulb and therefore makes regrowth much slower.

Waxing removes hairs with the root, so they grow back finer and softer.

ARE THERE CONTRAINDICATIONS OF FACE WAXING?

Please consider the following before you book a visit. It is better to put off the treatment if you:

1) have herpes or wounds;

2) have active inflammation;

3) have had peeling (1–2 days before the visit) or other cosmetic procedures.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SKIN TO THE FIRST WAXING ON FACE?

You do not need to prepare specifically if you don’t have contraindications.

I’M PLANNING A TRIP TO THE BEACH. WHEN SHOULD I DO FACE WAXING?

Schedule your visit no later than three days before the travel or active sun exposure.

HOW TO PREPARE MY SKIN BEFORE WAXING?

Avoid sunbathing and the solarium at least three days before the visit. You may do a light peeling with a scrub two days before to lift the hairs.

DOES HAIR LENGTH MATTER?

If you do waxing regularly, the hairs should be at least 1 mm long in delicate underarm and bikini areas and 2–3 mm in larger areas (legs, arms etc.). If this is your first treatment, it is better to have them 5 mm or longer independent of the area.

CAN I DO WAXING DURING PREGNANCY?

There is no considerable restrictions except for the following:

— Uterine hypertonicity is a direct contraindication of waxing the bikini area.

— In the first trimester of pregnancy, the fetus implants itself into the uterine wall. You should be especially careful and avoid any stress in this period, so the first waxing is not recommended. If you routinely do waxing, you can proceed with it, but it is always better to ask your doctor.

HOW LONG WILL THE EFFECT LAST IN THE BIKINI AREA?

Three or four weeks in average, but it all depends on the stage of hair growth cycle.
